Rural Affairs Minister visits The Three Fishes
A government minister met the proud managers of a once failing East Lancashire restaurant to hear how it had turned its fortunes around.
Rural affairs minister Jim Knight MP visited the award-winning Three Fishes in Mitton, to see how Government cash had made a difference one year down the line.
The restaurant was given funding by Lancashire Rural Futures, an organisation set up by the Government to help businesses in the countryside. Owned by Northcote Manor, it now specialises in ingredients supplied by local producers.
