Guided Christmas Walk
10.30am for 11.00am start
Saturday 29th December - The Three Fishes
It's said that we don't always appreciate the beauty at our own front door. But our Christmas Walk will help you do just that!
Our countryside location makes us the perfect base to explore the beautiful area in this part of Lancashire. With the imposing Pendle Hill as a backdrop, the three rivers of Ribble, Hodder and Calder snaking around the fields and footpaths and the beautiful architecture of heritage buildings like Stonyhurst College all close, it's well worth putting on your walking boots to join us!
We'll set you up for the journey with a hot cup of tea or coffee when you arrive at the pub and a chance to meet the guides and your fellow walking buddies. Then it's time to go and explore!
Take in the sights and learn a bit more about the history of the area too, as our walking guides have done their research and will share their knowledge with you as you make your way round the route.
The walk will last for approximately two hours and is perfect for novice walkers and regular ramblers. Our guides have hundreds of miles of walking experience (maybe even thousands!) so you don't need to be an expert map reader, the guides will make sure you stay on the right path.
Following the ramble you will return to the pub where a 3-course lunch will be served, using the best seasonal ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers.
£28.50 per person for morning tea or coffee, guided walk and 3-course lunch.
Children free when dining from young person’s menu.
Older children who choose from the walk menu will be half price
10.30 - 11.00am - Meet and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee
11.00am - Set off on your two hour guided walk
1.15-1.30pm - Arrive back at pub and sit down to a 3-course seasonal lunch
As the Great British weather can be unpredictable at times, for the safety of walkers we may need to reschedule the walk.
In this case we will contact you on the number provided when you book. Suitable footwear and waterproofs are advised dependent on the weather.
